I had a proper Weekend Getaway for my first concert(s) since COVID-19 hit. When one of the bands at the top of my to-shoot list, DeeOhGee, announced that they had a pair of socially-distanced concerts, I jumped on the opportunity to end an eight-month dry spell. There were two shows; the first was at The Burl and featured Brother Smith and DeeOhGee (with special guest Uncle Sexy), and the second was at Laurel Cove Amphitheater and featured Eric Bolander, Brother Smith, and DeeOhGee. It was a fantastic weekend getting doing what I love for the first time in far too long.
