Regan was basically a couple steps up from “friend in passing.” We worked on a show together (her as an actor, me as the house manager), and while we had similar senses of humor and tossed some jokes back and forth, that was about it. Then one of my best friends (who is also a photographer) reached out and suggested we do a shoot together, tasking me with finding a model. On a whim, I thought “hmm, maybe Regan would be interested.”

What a fantastic whim.

That initial shoot was an absolute dream, with all of us instantly meshing and generating a ton of great images. The three of us have since done another couple of shoots together, and I’ve done a few more with Regan solo. She’s effortlessly amazing to work with, somehow making even the silliest requests we throw at her work, and cracking jokes the entire time.
