I was looking forward to the New Year’s Eve 2021 concert… and then it got delayed by Covid. Instead, it got pushed to April, and featured a giant Covid molecule piñata that hung over the stage and was smashed at midnight (to the tune of “The Final Countdown”). I’ve been a huge fan of The Protomen for several years (and they always put on a good show), so I was thrilled to finally shoot them. Hans Condor opened the show, which was my second time shooting them, and hopefully won’t be my last.
