When Honky Tonk Badonkadonk (a free East Nashville music magazine) celebrated their 1-year anniversary, they put on Donk Fest, a music festival that covered the gamut of music in Nashville. It was a marathon of a day (it was the first time I’ve shot for more than eight hours straight), but I got some great shots of nearly twenty different musicians across two different stages at The Cobra.
The event was also a fundraiser for Jessi Zazu, Inc., a local non-profit dedicated to continuing the arts, social justice, and women’s health advocacy efforts that Jessi was passionate about in life. One of the bands, The Wet Hands, is composed entirely of her brothers.
